Was it hard for u to learn how to use reason and pro tools?

mrpefecto asked:

Ok so, ive been writing songs for about 7 years. my Genre varies i love R&B,Hip-hop,and Soul but i have a ear for almost EVERYTHING. i also play guitar and sing, from time to time i’ll mess with the piano or keyboard. I also have knowledge of music theory. I have always wondered what it would be like to produce. My favorite producers are DarkChild, and Timbaland, I also really like PolO the dOn and Danja

Is it hard to learn programs like reason and pro-tools? how long did it take you to become content with your work? also any recommended books would be highly APPRECIATED!

One you learn one progam you shouldn’t have a hard time figuring out the others. You just have to learn the new system. Protools is actually one of the easier to use. There is a lot to know about audio production so do some research. Take a class or something.
